Ollantaytambo
Saturday 13 November 2010
This lady was selling prints to passing tourists. Although I wasn't interested in buying anything, she was very happy to pose for a photo and delightful to talk to. The people here are so warm, friendly and always smiling.
Machu Picchu tomorrow. I've been once and I can't wait to go again.

Riot Police in Lima near the Presidential Palace. Despite the mean look, they were quite relaxed and happy to pose for the camera. Apparently they are always there as it's the one place in Peru where protest is not allowed. There were a few more than usual on duty today as there were several African and Middle Eastern statesmen & women visiting.
